Caritas Manila

Disaster Risk Reduction Program's objective is to capacitate and increase the
resilience of the community against disasters and contingencies. They
may be in the form of natural hazards such as typhoons, earthquakes
and landslides. These contingencies may also be man-made hazards such
as armed conflicts and fires.

There are three levels where the program will be implemented. These
are the following:

•    Institutional Level
•    Organizational Level and
•    Community Level

To particularly increase  the capacity at the community level the
following activities are being implemented;

* Capacity Building
* Disaster Emergency Response (Relief and Medication )
* Post - Disaster Response (Rehabilitation )
