Caritas Margins are products that are 100% made by urban poor individuals and families that Caritas Manila is helping through its Caritas iskils livelihood training program.

The name "margins" in Caritas Margins is taken from the world marginalized. This term is often used in a social context to refer to groups that have been neglected, deprived, ignored. We often refer to them as the poor.

To date, we have provided over 20, 000 individuals from different parishes with skills training on food processing, commercial cooking, carpentry, massage therapy, cosmetology, fashion accessories, herbal soap and ointment, and homecare products.

One of the means to help the urban poor to have a dignified life is by teaching them skills. Skills that can provide them with the means to earn a decent living.
